TegoView software simplifies RFID smart asset deployments for aviation MRO. Using RFID readers with TegoView, maintenance staff can instantly access self-contained records in the field. RFID tags, physically attached to components, can store everything from information often found on an identification placard – such as part number, serial number, and expirations date – to detailed historical MRO information typically stored in a centralized database. Without relying on network access, the most current information is easily and immediately associated with that component. Staff can not only read information and maintenance history stored on a tag, but they can also write back to the part any action they have taken. The software serves as both a user interface and management console. Each interaction with a part leaves traceable updates that can be synchronized with back-end systems when network access becomes available.
