SiberLogic’s Airline Documentation Studio facilitates the airline documentation development and maintenance in compliance with the airline safety management policies and regulatory requirements, contributing additional robustness to the airline Safety Management System (SMS). Our technology handles both structured (XML) and unstructured (PDF) documentation as an end-to-end solution, including documentation conversion, authoring, safety/compliance analysis, review/approval and publishing stages.

In addition to the safety and compliance-related benefits, due to its built-in support for S1000D and other international structured technical publication standards, SiberLogic offers airlines a unique opportunity to ensure the uniform structure and layout across the entire documentation library as well as to standardize its documentation methodology, content and toolset on a mature international aerospace standard, such as S1000D.

Airline Documentation Studio (or simply “the Studio”) is an affordable software suite for airline documentation safety/compliance analysis and/or documentation development. Flight Operations Manual, General Maintenance Manual, Safety Manual, Organizational Manual are examples of documents that can be safety/compliance analyzed and/or developed in the Studio. Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Aircraft Operations Manual are examples of documents that can be imported into and then managed in the Studio.

The Studio is a mission-critical component of SMS (Safety Management System) as defined by FAA in the United States or IATA in Europe. In order for an airline to implement a quality Safety Management System (SMS), it has to streamline its documentation management processes so that at any given point in time, its documentation remains consistent with the regulations (such as CFR, or Code of Federal Regulations), with the ongoing task, safety, organizational and systems analysis, with the actual airline business practices and, most importantly, with itself. The Studio offers a set of readily available, built-in methodologies and features that help airlines establish demonstrably compliant, safety-oriented documentation development and maintenance airline corporate framework.

The Studio facilitates the airline documentation design, customization, review, publishing and on-going improvement processes. It also offers intuitive tools for task, safety, systems and organizational structure analysis.

The Studio comes pre-loaded with a library of SRRs (Specific Regulatory Requirements) and allows airlines to maintain bi-directional traceability between the airline documentation and individual SRRs. Due to its SRR-to-documentation traceability capacity, the Studio can automatically produce an up-to-date Letter of Compliance (also know as the “Concordance Matrix”), showing regulatory authorities and auditors a consistent and up-to-date compliance picture at any given point in time. The Studio dramatically reduces the often enormous effort and sometimes prohibitive costs otherwise associated with an airline’s pursuit of the safety-oriented regulatory compliance.fort and sometimes prohibitive costs otherwise associated with an airline’s pursuit of the safety-oriented regulatory compliance.
